So after adding animalic materials that went in the heavy or sweet or stable direction, I had to eliminate them little by little and come up with this solution that suits me best: a leathery, slightly animalic, powdery, velvety and elegant one. take. It goes along with my personality and my style and when I finally realized that this was my path, I finally felt happy and relieved.

The name comes from a conversation with an artist and fragrance lover, who said that it is as if the aroma emanates from the skin. This concept of 'Under My Skin' reinforced my path of delving into something more subtly 'human' than overtly 'animal'. The core of the fragrance is a combination of animalic and leathery notes tamed by iris butter (15% iron!). After working on this core, I worked on the base notes, composed of Tolu Balsam, Peru Balsam, Tonka Bean and various types of woods.

The last step of the work was the opening, where I used grapefruit and lavender. I used to be a 'lavender hater': but here it plays a subtle and elegant role. I was surprised at how well it paired with this scent, adding shine and elegance.
